Compassion - Yaegi Therapy honors the courage it takes to reach out for support and is committed to meeting the individual where they are now, in the present moment.
Yaegi (얘기) is a Korean word that holds multiple meanings depending on how it’s used: in its noun form, yaegi means “story” or “conversation.” In its verb form, yaegi means to “tell, say, speak.” (Source: Naver Korean-English Dictionary).
“Critical connections” refer to the work of Grace Lee Boggs, Chinese American activist and philosopher: “We never know how our small activities will affect others through the invisible fabric of our connectedness. In this exquisitely connected world, it’s never a question of ‘critical mass.” It’s always about critical connections.” You can read more about her life and legacy here.
